Hopetown Turns Two!
Can you believe it? We're turning TWO this summer!
In just two years, we’ve packed in incredible heritage, unforgettable events and plenty of surprises. From marking the 200th anniversary of the first passenger railway journey to welcoming a royal visit, winning 10 major awards, and hosting over 360,000 visitors, it’s been quite a journey!
Now it’s time to celebrate the start of our THIRD year in style. Join us for a day full of fun, laughter and hands-on activities for all ages.
What’s On:
- Climbing Wall
- Bubbleologist
- Miniature Train Rides (additional small charge - prices TBC)
So come on down, grab some cake and join in the party.
Please note, children must be 6 years old to use the climbing wall.

Free of charge for all visitors
Tickets can be booked online or in person at the Welcome Desk in the Goods Shed.
